About the position

The Java Full Stack Developer position at Infosys is focused on providing technical expertise and coordinating day-to-day deliverables for the development team. The role involves assisting in the technical design of large business systems, building applications, and ensuring data security and recovery. The developer will also research technologies to recommend solutions, contribute to best practices, and guide the team during the build and test phases.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise and coordinate day-to-day deliverables for the team.
• Assist in the technical design of large business systems.
• Build applications and interfaces between applications.
• Understand data security, retention, and recovery.
• Research technologies independently to recommend appropriate solutions.
• Contribute to technology-specific best practices and standards.
• Contribute to success criteria from design through deployment, including reliability, cost-effectiveness, performance, data integrity, maintainability, and scalability.
• Guide and mentor the team during the build and test phases.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in Core Java, Spring Boot, Spring Core, Reactive programming using WebFlux, Microservices, and streams understanding for data pipelines.
• Experience in architecting and implementing fault-tolerant, highly available microservices.
• Experience with testing frameworks like JUnit.
• SQL knowledge and experience writing database scripts using DDL or queries using DML.
• CI/CD skills to build automated infrastructure pipelines using Terraform.
• Microsoft Azure experience on building data engineering components like EventHub, ADLS2, Data Explorer, AKS, Data Storage.
• At least 4 years of experience in Agile scrum software development process.
• Strong analytical skills and excellent communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• At least 6 years of hands-on experience in Core Java, Microservices, and Spring Boot with client-facing skills.
• Drive technical and functional solution discussions with customers and provide thought leadership.
• Understanding of implementing GraphQL endpoints using Java Spring Boot.
• Strong sense of code with the ability to review, rework, and deliver top-class code to customers.
• Experience in a global delivery environment.
