The Java Full Stack Tech Lead with AWS position at Highbrow LLC is a long-term employment opportunity based in Morris Plains, NJ, with a remote start until August, after which the role will require approximately two days a week in the office. This role is designed for a candidate who possesses a strong technical background in Java and AWS, and is capable of leading a team while also being hands-on in the development process. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing requirement analysis, developing high-quality designs, and implementing product features. They will also review the work of other developers, provide constructive feedback, and ensure that high-quality product features are released to production. In this role, the Tech Lead will provide technical leadership and deliver end-to-end solutions to meet business use cases. The position requires considerable creativity, foresight, and judgment in planning and delivering initiatives. The candidate will be expected to use their deep professional knowledge to advise functional leaders and will focus on providing thought leadership within Information Management while working on broader projects that require an understanding of the wider business context. The responsibilities also include involvement in development, testing, and implementation of products/features, as well as developing and reviewing automation test scenarios using Junit and JEST for both UI and services. The Tech Lead will monitor product health, triage and fix functional and performance issues, and participate in release and deployment activities. Additionally, they will be involved in the migration from PCF to AWS and Openshift, as well as CI/CD activities and deploying software in AWS cloud environments.
