About the position

The Java Fullstack Developer role at Rocket Loans involves working on a next-generation microservice platform that supports personal loan services. This position is focused on full-stack software engineering, primarily utilizing Node.js for backend services and Angular for frontend development. The role is remote and offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in an Agile environment, contributing to the development of a multi-tenant financial lending platform.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full-stack applications using Node.js and Angular.
• Collaborate with Scrum teams to build features and services for the microservice platform.
• Engage in problem-solving and engineering tasks from the ground up.
• Participate in CI/CD processes and test automation.
• Interact with message queue systems as part of the development process.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in full-stack software engineering.
• Proficiency in Node.js for backend services.
• Experience with Typescript and Angular (legacy) or React (new platform).
• 3 years of experience in programming with JavaScript, HTML, or other programming languages.
• 3 years of experience in DevOps, including CI/CD and test automation.
• 3 years of experience interacting with message queue systems.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with AWS services.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira and Confluence.
