About the position

The Java Lead API Developer will be responsible for designing and implementing complex full-stack solutions, focusing on API and Microservices within large enterprise organizations. This role requires a strong background in Java development and experience with various frameworks and tools to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex full-stack solutions including API and Microservices.
• Lead development efforts in Java and related technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Create and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality.
• Participate in Agile development processes and methodologies.

Requirements

• Experience in Java, GIT, JIRA, Maven, Confluence, Spring framework (Core, MVC, AOP, Java NIO).
• Experience in Spring Boot framework.
• Experience implementing complex full-stack solutions including API and Microservices in large enterprise organizations.
• Experience with databases and code integrations such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL.
• Experience creating unit tests using JUnit, Mockito.
• Agile methodology and payments industry experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education, military, or work experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in Play Framework.
• Experience in implementing high-volume transactions processing applications.
• Experience in Integration Testing APIs with Postman, JMeter, etc.
