About the position

We have an exciting opportunity for a Java/MDM Developer with our industry-leading client in Cincinnati, OH. This role involves designing, coding, and debugging applications in various software languages, with a strong focus on Master Data Management (MDM) using Java. The successful candidate will engage in software analysis, code analysis, requirements analysis, and software reviews, identifying code metrics and conducting system risk analysis and software reliability analysis. The position also requires expertise in Object-oriented Design and Analysis (OOA and OOD), software modeling and simulation, and front-end graphical user interface design. In addition to development tasks, the Java/MDM Developer will be responsible for software testing and quality assurance, performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, and automation. The role includes supporting, maintaining, and documenting software functionality, integrating software with existing systems, and evaluating and identifying new technologies for implementation. Compliance with standards and implementing localization or globalization of software are also key responsibilities. Candidates should possess an undergraduate degree in computer engineering, computer science, information technology, or a related discipline. Responsibilities

  • Designing, coding and debugging applications in various software languages.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of MDM development with Java extension classes.
  • Preference for experience with IBM MDM.
  • 3-5 years of Java Spring development.
  • 2-5 years of SQL and relational database development.
