About the position

The Java Microservices Architect role at Zensar Technology involves designing and implementing architectural solutions for full-stack development, primarily using Java and Spring Boot. The position requires hands-on experience in leading architecture discussions and making critical architectural decisions, with a focus on microservices architecture and public cloud environments, particularly Google Cloud Platform.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement architectural solutions for Java microservices.
• Lead architecture discussions and make architectural decisions.
• Perform live coding exercises in Java and Spring Boot.
• Review past projects to assess proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Evaluate and justify the use of various Google Cloud Platform services.
• Deploy, manage, and optimize cloud-based applications and services.
• Lead a distributed team of onsite and offshore developers.
• Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Develop APIs and RESTful services, integrating with third-party systems.
• Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Strong experience in full-stack development with a focus on Java and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, JavaScript, and React.js.
• Experience leading large-scale web application projects from design to deployment.
• Ability to lead distributed teams and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong understanding of API development and RESTful services.
• Excellent communication skills.
