About the position

Infosys is seeking Java Microservices Developers to interface with key stakeholders and utilize technical proficiency across various stages of the Software Development Life Cycle. The role involves building high-throughput, fault-tolerant systems, creating high-level design artifacts, and delivering high-quality code. Responsibilities

• Interface with key stakeholders to gather requirements and define application architecture.
• Build high-throughput, fault-tolerant systems using Java and Microservices.
• Create high-level design artifacts and deliver high-quality code for modules.
• Lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty.
• Participate in a learning culture that encourages teamwork and collaboration.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 2 years of Information Technology experience.
• Hands-on experience in Java 8, REST, Springboot, Microservices, Kafka or MQ, OpenShift deployments.

Nice-to-haves

• At least 4 years of experience in Java hands-on development.
• Experience in Agile, Scrum, and/or Test-Driven Development environment.
• In-depth knowledge about modern application architecture and practical experience with Microservices Framework like Spring Boot.
• Good knowledge of API design.
• Some experience with DevOps practices such as Pipelines, CI / CD tools.
