About the position

The L2 Production Support role in Irving, TX, is focused on providing high-level support for production systems, particularly in Java environments. The position requires expertise in incident and problem management, as well as change management processes. The successful candidate will work closely with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring smooth operations and minimal downtime.

Responsibilities

  • Provide L2 production support for Java applications.
  • Manage the incident life cycle and problem life cycle effectively.
  • Coordinate with L3 and development teams to implement solutions.
  • Support change management processes, including releases and deployments.
  • Debug root causes of issues and provide both temporary and permanent solutions.
  • Utilize tools such as ITRS, Autosys, App Dynamics, ServiceNow, and UDeploy.

Requirements

  • Excellent knowledge of Linux shell scripting and Oracle.
  • ITIL certification preferred.
  • Experience with incident and problem management processes.
  • Familiarity with change management and deployment processes.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to business needs.
  • Experience in Java support within client end-user services.
