About the position

The Java/Python/DevOps position at Kforce Inc involves developing and implementing operational stability within the Associate Experience in Call Centers and Investment Centers. The role focuses on improving the speed of delivery, quality of code, and stability of production through collaboration with various teams, while leveraging KPIs for operational improvements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing operational stability within the Associate Experience in Call Centers and Investment Centers.
• Develop strategies and tools to quickly remediate operational problems.
• Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Production Support teams to increase speed of delivery and improve quality of code.
• Improve monitoring and telemetry of applications and platforms to allow proactive support.
• Leverage KPIs to improve speed of delivery and quality to production, including auto remediation and issue closure.

Requirements

• Experience managing technology environment stability and availability.
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies and delivery projects.
• Experience with search and analytics engines (e.g., Splunk, ELK).
• Experience with Linux/UNIX and Windows operating systems.
• Experience with workflow design, data analysis, and requirements identification.
• Experience with cloud-based technologies including SaaS solutions and AWS.
• Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines and associated technologies.
• Experience with PowerShell and Python scripting.
• Proven experience with programming languages including Java.
• Production support experience with financial systems.
• Knowledge of ITIL practices.
• Knowledge of DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
• Knowledge of basic networking (ping, traceroute, DNS).
• Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and project management skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
