About the position

We are seeking a mid-level or higher Java/Python Developer with strong experience in Java and Python. The role requires the ability to quickly understand existing code and system architecture, with a focus on multi-threaded programs and databases. An active TS/SCI with a Full Scope Polygraph Security Clearance is mandatory for this position, which is 100% onsite in Annapolis Junction, MD.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using Java and Python.
• Understand and modify existing code and system architecture.
• Work with multi-threaded programs and databases.
• Collaborate with team members in an Agile environment.

Requirements

• Strong experience in Java and Python programming languages.
• Experience with Spring Boot framework.
• Proficiency in SQL and database management.
• Familiarity with Bash scripting and version control using Git.
• Active TS/SCI with a Full Scope Polygraph Security Clearance.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Splunk Dashboard Development.
• Knowledge of Sybase database.
• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• UI Development experience using JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
• Experience with SaltStack and Apache NiFi.
• Understanding of Agile Software Development methodologies.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.
