About the position

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Python Developer to join our team in Sunnyvale, CA. This position is focused on developing a robust framework and foundation for automation, distinct from traditional automation testing roles. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both Java and Python, with a strong emphasis on product-based company experience. Previous experience at Apple is considered a significant advantage. The role requires a deep understanding of programming principles, design, and architecture, as well as hands-on experience in full-stack Python development, including API integration, library management, networking, data transfer, and automation scripting. This is an onsite position with a hybrid work model, requiring attendance three days a week in the office. Candidates should ensure their LinkedIn profiles are updated to reflect their qualifications and experience accurately.

Responsibilities

• Develop a framework and foundation for automation using Java and Python.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement automation solutions.
• Engage in full-stack Python development, including API and library development.
• Ensure high-quality code through best practices in design and architecture.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation frameworks and scripts.

Requirements

• 10-12 years of experience in software development, specifically in Java and Python.
• Strong programming skills in Python, with a focus on both low-level and advanced concepts.
• Hands-on experience in full-stack development, including API integration and automation scripting.
• Understanding of design and architecture principles in software development.
• Experience in networking and data transfer protocols.

Nice-to-haves
