About the position

Infosys is seeking a Java React Fullstack Developer who will play a crucial role in interfacing with key stakeholders and applying technical proficiency across various stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). This includes requirements elicitation, application architecture definition, and design. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating high-level design artifacts and delivering high-quality code for a module. Additionally, the role involves leading validation for all types of testing and supporting activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty. Candidates must be located in Chicago, IL, or be willing to relocate to the state. The role may require travel to project locations, and candidates must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship, as Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time.

Responsibilities

• Interface with key stakeholders to gather requirements and define application architecture.
• Create high-level design artifacts for software applications.
• Deliver high-quality code for assigned modules and lead validation for all types of testing.
• Support implementation, transition, and warranty activities related to software development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
• At least 4 years of experience with UI technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular) and Java/J2EE technologies.
• At least 4 years of experience in design and architecture review.
• At least 4 years of experience in the software development life cycle with a strong background in Agile Development Model.
• Deep knowledge of React JS, Redux practices, and commonly used modules based on extensive work experience.
• Working knowledge of Spring Boot, NodeJS, and Next JS.
• Experience in creating self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components.
• Ability to ensure a clear dependency chain regarding app logic and file system.
• Experience with third-party libraries for DOM manipulation and understanding the JavaScript event model.
• Ability to write efficient selectors and understand CSS rule specificity.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work in a team environment with client interfacing skills.
