About the position

The Java Sailpoint Developer position is a critical role that requires a strong foundation in Java programming and extensive experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of core Java experience and at least 3 years of hands-on experience with SailPoint IIQ. This role involves analyzing complex business requirements and generating technical specifications to design or redesign intricate software components and applications. As an expert technical resource, the developer will engage in modeling, simulation, and analysis efforts, ensuring that the solutions meet quality, security, and compliance standards. In this dynamic environment, the developer must be adaptable and thrive amidst change, demonstrating flexibility in their approach to work. The role also emphasizes leveraging industry best practices to design, test, implement, and support solutions effectively. The candidate will be expected to create custom connectors using the open connector framework in SailPoint IIQ, which is a significant advantage. Additionally, experience in creating SailPoint IIQ workflows, REST API endpoints, and writing automated test cases using Cucumber will be highly beneficial. Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps concepts is also essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Strong Java skills with a minimum of 5+ years of core Java experience.
  • 3+ years of SailPoint IIQ experience.
  • Experience creating SailPoint IIQ workflows is a huge plus.
  • Experience creating REST API endpoints is a huge plus.
  • Experience writing automated test cases using Cucumber.
  • Experience with agile and DevOps concepts.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or a related field required.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience writing a custom connector leveraging the open connector framework using SailPoint IIQ.
  • Familiarity with Oracle SQL.
  • Experience with Unix.
  • Knowledge of AWS Services such as EC2 and S3.
  • Experience with Jenkins/CICD setup.
