About the position

The JavaScript Cypress SDET QA Tester role involves designing and developing a test automation framework and strategy using Cypress and Cucumber. The position requires migrating existing Selenium WebDriver scripts to Cypress, establishing a test automation process, and creating test strategies and plans for Agile projects. The tester will oversee the development of automation testing frameworks for both front-end and back-end API services across various platforms, ensuring data integrity through MONGO queries and developing automation frameworks for API testing with SOAP UI.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop test automation framework and strategy using Cypress/Cucumber.
• Migrate from Selenium WebDriver scripts to Cypress.
• Establish Test Automation process and involve in evaluating/planning the automation roadmap.
• Create test strategy, test plans and test cases for projects managed through Agile development methodology.
• Develop automation scripts for Web Applications and Graph QL APIs.
• Create data-driven tests to check application performance with different sets of data.
• Oversee the design and development of automation testing frameworks for front end and back end API services across desktop, web and mobile applications.
• Write MONGO queries to access the data from the database collections to ensure data integrity.
• Develop automation framework for API testing with SOAP UI.
• Familiarity with GitHub/TFS and Azure Kubernetes.

Requirements

• Advanced knowledge in JavaScript
• Advanced knowledge in Cypress
• Experience with CI/CD devops principles
• Ability to build and maintain a test platform
• Experience in creating test strategies and plans for Agile projects
• Experience in developing automation scripts for Web Applications and Graph QL APIs
• Experience in writing MONGO queries for data integrity
• Experience in developing automation frameworks for API testing with SOAP UI
