About the position

The Senior JavaScript Developer will play a key role in the development, testing, and delivery of software products or components. This position requires advanced consulting skills and extensive technical expertise, focusing on maintaining existing systems and developing new solutions. The role involves mentoring team members and working independently to solve complex problems.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the development, testing, and delivery of software products or components.
• Maintain existing systems and develop new systems.
• Develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
• Mentor and supervise team members as needed.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience with software development.
• 3+ years of experience with Node.js and Microservices.
• 3+ years of experience leading a software development team.
• Experience with React.
• Experience with Swagger, OpenAPI, or Postman.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements.
• HS diploma or GED.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with SQL, Git, Subversion, Jira, and Confluence.
• Experience with integrating into COTS applications.
• Experience with setting up continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.
• Experience with performance testing to measure the screen's responsiveness.
• Experience with section 508 Compliance.
• Experience with building and maintaining client relationships in a team-based government or professional services environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
