We are seeking a skilled JavaScript Developer to join our team in Dallas, TX. This is a contract position that requires a strong background in web development, particularly with JavaScript and its associated frameworks. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of object-oriented design principles and be proficient in using web development frameworks such as Angular or React. The role involves working onsite five days a week in Dallas, where you will collaborate with other developers and stakeholders to create high-quality web applications. In this position, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications, ensuring they are responsive and user-friendly. You will work closely with back-end developers to integrate APIs and other services, and you will be expected to participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall improvement of the development process. Familiarity with Java frameworks such as DropWizard, Spring, and Hibernate is also essential, as is experience with distributed storage systems like DB2, Oracle, Cassandra, and MongoDB. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, particularly using Git. You should also have a working knowledge of Unix/Linux environments, as this will be necessary for the development and deployment of applications.
