ADA Site Compliance is seeking an energetic, dedicated, and responsible full-stack software engineer to help us build software to help individuals with disabilities navigate the internet. As an integral part of the product engineering team, you will be responsible for building applications from the ground up and developing features that change how people access the web. This role requires a strong foundation in JavaScript development, particularly with frameworks like React or Angular, and a solid understanding of web fundamentals such as HTML5 and CSS. You will work closely with the Chief Technology Officer and other team members to ensure that all deliverables meet established quality standards and project deadlines. In this position, you will contribute to all phases of the development cycle, including project estimation, and will be expected to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. You will also have the opportunity to mentor and motivate junior team members, ensuring that they adhere to best practices and standards. Your strong UI/UX skills will be essential in creating elegant user interactions with a focus on detail. Additionally, you will manage trade-offs between development speed and quality, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and to specification. The ideal candidate will have experience in responsive and adaptive web design, as well as a background in database technologies such as MySQL and SQL Server. Familiarity with source control systems like git is also required. If you are a motivated and results-oriented developer with a passion for making an impact, this is the role for you.
