About the position
The Java - SDET Consultant role focuses on hands-on automation testing of Java applications. The position requires expertise in various testing frameworks and tools, emphasizing the importance of both automation and web development skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on automation testing for Java applications.
- Utilize Selenium WebDriver, Appium, Cucumber BDD, TestNG, Rest Assured API, and JUnit for testing environments.
- Develop and maintain test scripts and frameworks for automated testing.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in Java application automation testing.
- Proficiency in Selenium and related testing tools.
- Experience with web development technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and XML.
- Familiarity with IDEs like IntelliJ and Eclipse.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with additional testing frameworks or tools.
