UST is seeking a Java Senior Developer to join our team in St. Louis, Missouri. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building end-to-end business solutions for one of the leading financial services organizations in the US and Canada. This role requires a strong background in both frontend and backend development technologies, as well as excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with domain and technical experts. In this position, you will maintain active relationships with the Product Owner to understand business requirements, lead requirement gathering meetings, and review designs. You will own your backlog items and coordinate with team members to develop features planned for each sprint. Your responsibilities will include performing technical design reviews and code reviews, prototyping, developing, and troubleshooting software in the user interface or service layers. You will also conduct peer reviews on source code to ensure reuse, scalability, and adherence to best practices. The role involves participating in collaborative technical discussions focused on software user experience, design, architecture, and development. You will be responsible for demonstrating project features to client stakeholders, utilizing the latest frontend and backend development technologies. Additionally, you will provide overlap coverage with onsite/customer teams until 9 PM IST. This position is hybrid, allowing for both in-office and remote work, and requires a commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions.
