About the position

The Sr. Software Engineer will be responsible for full stack design, development, and unit testing, focusing on creating interfaces using Java, GCP, GKE, and MongoDB. This role requires applying practical knowledge of software development to design, develop, test, and implement software solutions of moderate to high complexity, particularly within the Supply Chain domain. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively in a team environment and utilize modern software development practices such as CI/CD and agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement software fixes and improvements.
• Create new integrations and applications of moderate to high complexity.
• Utilize modern software development paradigms including CI/CD and agile methodologies.
• Collaborate with team members and participate in technical discussions and peer reviews.
• Provide status reports to account management as requested.
• Contribute to team-building efforts and participate in monthly team meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Five years of progressively related experience in software design, development, and implementation.
• Experience in developing highly scalable, high-volume software systems and client-facing web applications.
• Significant knowledge of Java, GCP, GKE, Terraform, and MongoDB Atlas.
• Experience with development tools such as Eclipse, Gitlab, CI/CD, Maven, and Jenkins.
• Proficiency in JSON messaging and web services (SOAP & REST).
• Supply Chain Management experience including logistics, WMS, inventory management, and purchasing.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Crunchtime and Blue Yonder forecasting and replenishment systems.
