About the position

The Java Spring Boot PCF Developer role involves developing and maintaining microservices in a cloud environment, specifically using PCF (Pivotal Cloud Foundry). The position requires extensive experience in Java and Spring Boot, along with a strong understanding of software engineering best practices. The developer will be responsible for designing data persistence and caching solutions, as well as working with both SQL and NoSQL databases.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Design data persistence and caching solutions using Cassandra and big data technologies.
  • Implement software engineering best practices including Agile development, test-driven development, and code reviews.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Requirements

  • 9+ years of hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot.
  • Expertise in microservices and PCF or similar cloud environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Cassandra and experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases, including Oracle.
  • Excellent understanding of software engineering best practices.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Apigee for API management.
