About the position

The Java Springboot Developer position is a contract role based in Basking Ridge, NJ, requiring candidates with extensive experience in order management and customer experience domains. The role focuses on troubleshooting, performance tuning, and operational management of Java applications, utilizing various monitoring tools and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for production incidents and provide resolutions.
• Expertly use Kibana and Grafana for monitoring, logging, and alerting purposes.
• Analyze logs, metrics, and application performance data to troubleshoot and diagnose issues.
• Implement performance tuning and optimization for Java applications.
• Run and manage outages and Major Incident Management (MIM).
• Apply strong analytical thinking to identify system fallouts and design reflow steps for process continuity.
• Manage and monitor operational funnels to ensure smooth progression through the system, identifying and addressing bottlenecks.
• Document operational processes, troubleshooting guides, and post-incident reports.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in ORBPM, OMS, and CXP domains.
• Strong knowledge of Java Spring Boot.
• Experience with JMS and API Management & Monitoring Tools.
• Proficiency in Cassandra, SQL/NoSQL databases, and RESTful Web Services.
• Familiarity with Jenkins or other CI/CD tools.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and scripting languages (Bash, Python, etc.) for automation.
