About the position

Infosys is seeking a Java Springboot Developer with application maintenance and support experience. The position will primarily be responsible for providing support for the In-House product based on customer requirements. The selected candidate will be expected to provide user support, maintain and upgrade applications, develop new features, and write test scripts. Additionally, the role involves troubleshooting issues within the systems and interacting with customer process consultants and business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to understand and analyze various processes. The candidate will also be tasked with deriving automation opportunities and making recommendations based on product discussions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java/J2EE, Spring framework, and Spring Boot, along with experience in developing REST APIs and working with ORM technologies such as JPA and Hibernate. Proficiency in front-end technologies like Angular, HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS, as well as SQL databases including Postgres, Oracle, and MySQL, is essential. Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, and monitoring tools like New Relic or Splunk is also required. Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, is a significant advantage. The role requires the ability to communicate complex technology solutions effectively to diverse teams, including technical, business, and management teams. The candidate should also have a desire to work in a global delivery environment and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution.
• At least 2 years of experience in Information Technology.
• At least 2 years of professional experience with Java/J2EE, Spring framework, Spring Boot, REST APIs, ORM, JPA, Hibernate, Angular, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, and SQL Database (Postgres, Oracle, MySQL).
• Experience using CI/CD tools, GitHub, Jenkins, and monitoring tools like New Relic or Splunk.
• Experience with any cloud platform, preferably AWS.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with application development and support.
• Experience with resolving security vulnerabilities.
• Knowledge of Node.js is preferred.
• Experience managing a team would be a plus.
