About the position

The Java Springboot Developer position at Infosys focuses on application maintenance and support for an in-house product. The role involves providing user support, maintaining and upgrading applications, developing new features, and writing test scripts. The developer will troubleshoot system issues and collaborate with customer process consultants and business SMEs to analyze processes and identify automation opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for the In-House product based on customer requirements.
• Maintain and upgrade applications as needed.
• Develop new features and write test scripts.
• Troubleshoot issues on the systems.
• Interact with customer process consultants and business SMEs to understand and analyze various processes.
• Derive automation opportunities and make recommendations from product discussions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 2 years of experience in Information Technology.
• At least 2 years of professional experience with Java/J2EE, Spring framework, Spring Boot, Rest APIs, ORM, JPA, Hibernate, Angular, HTML5, Javascript, CSS, SQL Database (Postgres, Oracle, MYSQL).
• Experience with CI/CD tools, GitHub, Jenkins, New Relic/Splunk.
• Experience with any cloud platform, preferably AWS.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with application development and support.
• Experience with resolving security vulnerabilities.
• Knowledge of Node.js is preferred.
• Ability to communicate complex technology solutions to diverse teams.
• Experience managing a team would be a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
