About the position

The Java Web Developer will join the software development team at Systems Implementers, Inc. to maintain and develop MRO Apps, an enterprise web application used at Hill Air Force Base for depot maintenance, repair, and overhaul. This role offers the opportunity for mentorship from experienced engineers and requires on-site work at Hill AFB.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop code for MRO Apps.
• Perform peer code reviews to ensure adherence to standards.
• Conduct integration testing to ensure quality control.
• Participate in database modeling and design activities.
• Engage in user interface design activities.
• Collaborate with Analysts and Subject Matter Experts.

Requirements

• Experience with Angular 5+ for large-scale applications.
• Expertise in Java EE, specifically Spring.
• Experience with Oracle or Postgres in an enterprise environment.
• Proficiency in web development using HTML/CSS/JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience developing Java Web applications.
• Exceptional troubleshooting skills and problem-solving ability.
• U.S. Citizenship.
• Ability to work on-site at Hill Air Force Base.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working on Agile software development projects (using Sprint or Kanban methodologies).
• Experience designing data structures and/or user interfaces.
• Certification in CSSLP, CISSP, CASP, or Scrum Master.
• Experience with Spring, MVC, XML, Jira, JPA/Hibernate, Tomcat/WebLogic, JSON, Maven, SVN or Git, AJAX, Eclipse, Oracle SQL & PL/SQL.
