About the position

We are looking for a Lead Quality Engineer with 8 to 12 years of experience to join our Asset and Wealth Management team. This hybrid role requires a proactive individual with strong technical skills to ensure the highest quality standards in our software development lifecycle, particularly in automation testing and quality assurance processes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the highest quality standards in the software development lifecycle.
• Utilize Test Automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, Junit, TestNG, or similar.
• Conduct API testing using tools like Postman.
• Perform performance testing with tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure effective communication and teamwork.
• Mentor and guide software engineering teams in best practices.

Requirements

• 8 to 12 years of experience in quality engineering.
• Strong technical skills in GITHUB, BDD, ALM, SQL, Cucumber, Jenkins, Scrum, Java, TestNG, Jira, Selenium, Maven, and PL/SQL.
• Experience with Test Automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, Junit, TestNG, or similar.
• Experience working in SCRUM or other Agile methodologies.
• Experience with databases like SQL Server, Oracle, Mongo, etc.
• Expertise in SDLC best practices including code reviews, testing, and debugging.
• Experience with CICD tools and pipeline automation.
• Experience with Cloud-based development and deployment environments.
• Proficiency with static code analysis tools (e.g. SonarQube) and Quality Gates implementation.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in mentoring and guiding software engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
