About the position

We are seeking an experienced Java developer with a strong background in microservices and API development. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Cloud technologies, Kubernetes, Docker, and OpenShift, and will be responsible for both development and team management. This role requires the ability to write source code from scratch and lead a team effectively, focusing on delivery and best practices in coding.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage Java applications with a focus on microservices and API development.
• Lead a team of developers, ensuring effective collaboration and delivery of projects.
• Write source code from scratch and perform code reviews to maintain best practices.
• Configure and manage software, optimizing processes through automation.
• Utilize GIT for version control, including manual commands.
• Implement and manage applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
• Participate in Agile development lifecycle methodologies and contribute to sprint planning and reviews.
• Analyze and solve complex problems, providing technical solutions and guidance.

Requirements

• Strong development experience in Java programming language.
• Proven experience in API development and microservices architecture.
• Expertise in Cloud technologies, Kubernetes, Docker, and OpenShift.
• Experience with the Spring framework for building applications.
• Strong leadership skills with a focus on team management and development.
• Proficiency in using GIT for source control, including manual command usage.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Hands-on experience with Kafka or any streaming technology.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace.
