About the position

Rolle IT LLC is seeking a skilled mid-level JavaScript / React Developer to join their team in a remote capacity. This role focuses on building and maintaining web applications that support the Department of Veterans Affairs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in modern web development, particularly in JavaScript and React, and a commitment to user-centered design and clean coding practices. The position requires U.S. citizenship and eligibility for Public Trust Clearance, with a preference for candidates who already possess VA clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive web applications using JavaScript (ES6+) and React.js
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services
• Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for performance and scalability
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications
• Stay current with modern web development trends and best practices
• Work within an Agile environment, using tools such as JIRA to manage tasks and workflows

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in JavaScript/React development
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
• Experience with Redux, Node.js, and Express is a plus
• Strong knowledge of responsive design and UI frameworks such as Material UI or Bootstrap
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git and cloud platforms (AWS, Docker, etc.)
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest or Mocha
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible for Public Trust Clearance
