About the position

Computerway Food Systems (CFS) is seeking a Javascript / NodeJS Full Stack Developer to join their team in High Point, NC. The company specializes in integrated plant floor and enterprise-level information systems for food manufacturing and processing. This role involves modernizing applications using current web standards and contributing to the development of new product lines. Responsibilities

• Backend development using NodeJS
• Frontend web development using AngularJS / Angular
• Working with MS SQL database
• Collaborating with architects to improve current system designs
• Supporting existing customer systems
• Creating documentation such as Technical Specifications and User Manuals
• Researching and designing system improvements and new product lines
• Learning about new technologies
• Occasional travel to customer sites for implementation, R&D, or support

Requirements

• Solid understanding of web development (HTML, CSS, JS, Client-Side JS Libraries, REST, Websocket)
• Basic understanding of databases including tables, fields, indexes, and stored procedures
• Ability to write SQL queries including the use of complex joins (inner, self, outer, etc.)
• Willingness and excitement to learn new technologies
• Must be a team player and communicate well with others

Nice-to-haves

• Red Hat Linux Enterprise OS (7 and above)
• MS SQL Server experience
• Docker experience
