About the position

The Javascript UI Developer position is a contract role focused on designing and developing scalable solutions for a leading Banking and Financial Industry client. The role requires expertise in UI development, particularly with Angular and related technologies, and involves working on multiple projects while ensuring high-quality deliverables. The position offers long-term potential and is based in either Plano, TX or Jersey City, NJ, requiring onsite presence.

Responsibilities

• Work on design and develop scalable solutions using efficient Design Patterns.
• Handle non-functional requirements such as performance, throughput, and SLA.
• Demonstrate excellent aesthetic capability with UX designing and development experience.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Understand all aspects of the application including rendering large datasets and data fetching using HTTP and authentication.
• Identify improvement areas within the application and implement changes.
• Adapt flexibly to team requirements.
• Ensure high quality levels in all deliverables.
• Participate in mandatory training and cross-functional activities across teams.
• Acquire domain knowledge enthusiastically.
• Work efficiently in a matrix organization with leadership in India and the USA.
• Engage in process improvements and automations.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in UI development.
• Strong understanding of Design Patterns.
• Hands-on experience with Angular X and related UI frameworks.
• Proficient in HTML5, Javascript, and CSS3.
• Experience in web application development using advanced HTML designing and Java scripting.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of the banking domain, preferably in Global Markets, Financial Risk, Treasury, etc.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Ag-Grid, HighchartJS, NgRx, Node.js.
