About the position

The Cybersecurity Architect & Design Engineer role focuses on designing and engineering security solutions to protect the company's IT environment. This position involves hands-on experience in cybersecurity architecture, including firewalls, endpoint detection and response (EDR), data loss prevention (DLP), and identity and access management (IAM). The role requires a proactive approach to developing security policies, managing security infrastructure, and ensuring compliance with industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform architecture design and engineering for the Security Environment, including log monitoring, threat intelligence, anti-virus, encryption, and web intrusion prevention.
• Perform lifecycle engineering of security infrastructure, equipment, and software.
• Architect, design, and engineer a complete security program that aligns with industry best practices and threat levels.
• Provide identity and access management (IAM) program design and engineering services.
• Architect and design capacity planning/analysis to meet Company's requirements.
• Develop, document, and maintain security policies to ensure the integrity of Security Services.
• Architect and engineer Security Services, including anti-virus and anti-malware software, data leak prevention (DLP), and web application firewalls.
• Develop controls for security assessments, audits, and internal control testing.
• Develop information classification parameters within CMDB according to Company security strategies.
• Develop action plans and escalation procedures for identified security breaches.
• Design all Security Infrastructure and cloud security products.
• Design processes for managing the introduction of new Security Infrastructure into the Company IT Environment.
• Provide leadership and guidance in the development and implementation of security policies.
• Design integration of email filtering solutions with Company LDAP/Active Directory.
• Provide planning, propose service levels, and draft policy statements.
• Develop standards to maintain compliance with information security policies.
• Establish Supplier ISMS standards for managing security risks.
• Develop a process for quality assurance tests of security processes and incident response functions.
• Maintain all security documentation related to Company's enterprise security architecture.
• Support compliance teams in identifying solutions for compliance requirements.
• Develop reporting for audit, compliance, and board level meetings.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in design and architecture of cybersecurity solutions including firewalls, EDR/DLP, and IAM/PAM.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and threat management tools.
• Experience in developing and maintaining security policies and documentation.
• Ability to perform lifecycle engineering of security infrastructure and software.
• Proficiency in capacity planning and analysis for security requirements.
