About the position

As a Jewelry/Operations Specialist at Fred Meyer Jewelers, you will be responsible for upholding the highest standards of operational efficiency and compliance across our stores. Responsibilities

  • Optimize processes and procedures for operational efficiency.
  • Monitor and report compliance issues across stores.
  • Provide support in multiple areas of the department as needed.

  • Act in a supporting role for stores, ensuring adherence to procedures.
  • Deliver timely coaching, guidance, and feedback to team members.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to collaborate and work cooperatively in a team-based environment.
  • Knowledge of Fred Meyer policies, procedures, and organizational structure.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task while providing accurate and timely results.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to work weekends and travel independently.
  • Proficient knowledge of financial statements and budgets.
  • Ability to find new avenues for approaching tasks and accept new business challenges.
  • Resourcefulness with systems and information available.
  • Ability to lead effectively.

Nice-to-haves

  • Associate Degree preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of jewelry store processes and procedures.
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, MapPoint, Visio, or similar applications.
  • Thorough knowledge of technology used in the store.
  • Model Customer 1st behavior and encourage excellent customer service among associates.
