About the position

As a Jewelry/Operations Specialist at Fred Meyer Jewelers, you will be responsible for upholding the highest standards of operational efficiency and compliance across our stores. Your primary role will involve optimizing processes and procedures, while closely monitoring and reporting any compliance issues that arise. This position is crucial in ensuring that our operations run smoothly and effectively, contributing to the overall success of the company. In addition to your primary responsibilities, you will be cross-trained in multiple areas of the department, allowing you to provide support wherever needed. Responsibilities

• Optimize processes and procedures for operational efficiency.
• Monitor and report compliance issues across stores.
• Provide support in multiple areas of the department as needed.
• Demonstrate the company's core values in daily operations.
• Act in a supporting role for stores, ensuring adherence to procedures.
• Deliver timely coaching, guidance, and feedback to team members.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to collaborate and work cooperatively in a team-based environment.
• Knowledge of Fred Meyer policies, procedures, and organizational structure.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task while providing accurate and timely results.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to work weekends and travel independently.
• Proficient knowledge of financial statements and budgets.
• Ability to find new avenues for approaching tasks and accept new business challenges.
• Resourcefulness with systems and information available.
• Ability to lead effectively.

Nice-to-haves

• Associate Degree preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of jewelry store processes and procedures.
• Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, MapPoint, Visio, or similar applications.
• Thorough knowledge of technology used in the store.
• Model Customer 1st behavior and encourage excellent customer service among associates.
