About the position

Simones Jewelry is seeking a responsible, results-driven, and highly motivated Sales Associate to join our team. This full-time position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about jewelry sales and customer service. The Sales Associate will be responsible for all sales activities, from providing appropriate product solutions to nurturing customers through the purchase flow from start to finish. Our ideal candidate will uphold the ideals and standards of our company, constantly striving to meet all sales goals and exceed customer expectations. This role offers a base salary of $39,500 to $47,000 per year, plus commission, making it a lucrative opportunity for driven sales professionals. As a Sales Associate, you will welcome customers by greeting them and advising them on our product offerings. You will be expected to sell merchandise consistently to meet or exceed sales expectations while providing outstanding customer service and a high-quality shopping experience. Documenting sales by creating or updating customer profile records is essential, as is processing payments through various methods, including checks, cash, and credit cards. Keeping clientele informed of preferred customer sales and future merchandise of potential interest is also a key responsibility. In addition to sales, you will contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Understanding and utilizing company policies and procedures will be crucial in handling customer transactions and resolving service issues appropriately. You will also perform store setup and closing operations, including opening and closing the office area and managing jewelry displays. Basic store maintenance, merchandising, and ensuring the store remains clean, safe, and inviting are also part of your duties. This position requires a commitment to continuous education through workshops, seminars, and conferences to enhance your skills and product knowledge.
