About the position

Jewelry Television® is seeking an experienced Director of Digital Marketing to lead the digital media strategy and implementation for its various online platforms. This high-profile role involves managing a small team and collaborating with premier digital marketing agencies to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth. The Director will report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer and engage with other senior executives, ensuring that the digital marketing efforts align with the company's overall strategy and objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, create, and execute the digital media strategy for JTV, Jedora, and Gemstones.com.
  • Work closely with the Marketing and Design team to brainstorm daily content and campaign-based content for all digital media platforms.
  • Develop unique strategies and build upon brand strategies within the digital arena to meet/exceed objectives.
  • Develop digital marketing plans that result in highly efficient customer acquisition and retention.
  • Ensure a strategic focus throughout the entire lifecycle of digital marketing projects.
  • Develop strong, trusting relationships between clients, agency staff, and agency partners, providing leadership and support during strategy, ideation, and execution.
  • Work with in-house analytics professionals to ensure the proper measurement to drive scale and financial impact.
  • Support digital marketing team and project manager(s) in obtaining necessary specifications and standards for digital work.
  • Develop a comprehensive total understanding of online target audience and mindset modes.
  • Work closely with partners to manage weekly adjustments to media plans based on performance.
  • Drive process improvement and team communication with multiple partners.
  • Plan and budget with partners.
  • Lead Omni-channel campaigns and creative seasonal themes.
  • Work with Merchandising and Marketing leads to ensure Creative Teams are briefed efficiently with seasonal and go to market strategies.
  • Regularly present media recommendations to CMO and Sr Leadership Team.
  • Responsible for day-to-day budgeting and scheduling for all media agencies.
  • Interview, hire and train new staffing and consultants.
  • Lead, write and conduct reviews with all team members.
  • Schedule and conduct weekly team meetings with staff and media agencies.
  • Ensure team has what they need to feel appreciated, informed, inspired and equipped to be successful.

Requirements

  • 5 -10+ years of digital media strategy and execution experience
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, digital marketing, finance or business analytics and other relevant fields
  • MBA preferred
  • Strong track record of performance-based marketing
  • Excellent organizational, communication and leadership skills.
