Responsibilities

  • Independently perform advanced research and data analysis tasks.
  • Collect and maintain data for scheduled reports.
  • Utilize structured and unstructured data for statewide business improvement.
  • Conduct statistical work in programmatic or investigative areas.
  • Perform related duties as required.

Requirements

  • Seven years of professional experience in data collection, analysis, reporting, and dissemination using statistical techniques, supplemented by 18 credits in social sciences, criminal justice, statistics, or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with three years of professional experience, including 18 credits in social sciences, criminal justice, statistics, or a related field.
  • Master's degree in a relevant field with two years of professional experience.
  • Ph.D. in a relevant field with one year of professional experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Coursework in juvenile justice and/or youth development.
  • Experience making juvenile justice policy recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Experience preparing data and materials for diverse stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with SPSS, Microsoft Access, and Microsoft Excel.
