About the position

As a Job Captain at Ware Malcomb, you will play a crucial role in delivering innovative design projects for a diverse range of clients. This position involves leading project coordination with consultants and internal teams, contributing to all phases of design, and providing construction administration support. You will leverage your technical expertise and knowledge of building codes to produce high-quality construction documents, ensuring smooth project execution and collaboration with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project coordination with the consultant team for each phase of the project including Site planning, Conceptual, Schematic, Design Development, Construction Document, and Construction Administration.
• Provide Revit support for the preparation of project documents.
• Utilize the company's resource groups for design.
• Prepare design and construction documents.
• Assist the Project Manager or Architect with construction services such as site visits and review of shop drawings.
• Perform project code searches and analysis for each project.
• Assist the Project Manager or Architect in the preparation of project schedules and review of budgets.
• Provide assistance for submittals for jurisdiction agencies.
• Communicate with clients, contractors, consultants, and Ware Malcomb team members.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in the field of Architecture
• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or related field
• Revit skills
• Knowledge of Newforma
• Knowledge of building codes
• Ability to coordinate a complete set of contract documents
