About the position

As a Job Captain at Clark Pacific, you will play a crucial role in assisting project managers and designers throughout the various phases of project development, from Design Development to Construction Administration. Your responsibilities will include developing project documents for bidding and construction, ensuring that all deliverables are met at each phase of the project lifecycle. You will maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality while working with proprietary information and staff. Your role will also involve advising the project architect on the completion of drawings and specifications, as well as providing support for any tasks necessary for the successful completion of projects. In addition to your technical skills, you will be expected to actively engage in constructive discussions, challenge ideas when necessary, and coach team members to foster a collaborative environment. You will be responsible for the development and coordination of drawings, schedule commitments, and project research, ensuring that all aspects of the project are aligned and progressing as planned. This position requires a proactive approach and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, making strong communication skills essential. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Architecture and 2-5 years of related experience, particularly with commercial projects. You will need to demonstrate excellent attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with Revit, Sketch-Up, and/or Rhino is required, while knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office is preferred. Responsibilities

  • Assist project managers and designers in developing project documents for bidding and construction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Architecture is required.
  • 2-5 years related experience with commercial projects.
  • Working knowledge of Revit as a delivery platform.
  • Working knowledge of Sketch-Up and/or Rhino as a design platform.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and proactive work habits.

Nice-to-haves

  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with commercial projects highly desirable.
