About the position

Do you want to join a multi-disciplinary team with a strengths-based approach, emphasizing applied behavior analysis and positive behavior supports? Are you seeking a position that will assist young adults transition from school based programming to community and post education life/vocational skills? If you answer YES to those questions, considering joining Devereux PA Children's Services as a Job Coach with our Day Academy in Audubon PA. Shift: 8am-4pm, Monday-Friday (52 week year-long position). Everyday as a Job Coach you will: Directly supervise, train, and coach students within the school and/or in the community. Work with students to achieve a level of accomplishment and productivity that allows for greater employment independence. Work with the team to assess skills and level of functioning/participation. Document progress and involvement of students. Provide information and input based on level of participation, functioning and progress to goals.

Requirements
- Bachelors degree in education, psychology, social work, or related field preferred
- High school diploma required
- Two years experience working with adolescents and young adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities and/or behavior disorders in a transition and employment setting preferred
