About the position
The Job Coach Floater position at Social Vocational Services involves providing support and training to individuals with developmental disabilities in a vocational setting. This role is temporary and requires flexibility in scheduling, as it fills in for absent Job Coaches or temporarily vacant positions. The primary focus is on helping clients adjust to the workplace and achieve their vocational goals through direct interaction and support.
Responsibilities
- Learn the specific job tasks the clients will be required to perform
- Perform some job tasks during the time clients are in the initial learning phase
- Set-up natural supports at the workplace
- Track and document billable hours
- Educate and assist clients with company policies and procedures
- Participate in clients' planning team to develop goals, objectives and natural supports
- Act as a Mandated Abuse Reporter
Requirements
- CPR Certification
- Addiction counseling experience
- Intake Interviewing skills
- Entry level CRC certification
