About the position
The Job Coach Floater position at Social Vocational Services involves providing support and training to individuals with developmental disabilities. This role is temporary and requires flexibility in scheduling, including nights and weekends, to fill in for absent job coaches or temporarily vacant positions. The job coach will assist clients in job readiness training and on-the-job support, helping them adjust to workplace environments.
Responsibilities
- Learn the specific job tasks the clients will be required to perform
- Perform some job tasks during the time clients are in the initial learning phase
- Set-up natural supports at the workplace
- Track and document billable hours
- Educate and assist clients with company policies and procedures
- Participate in clients' planning team to develop goals, objectives and natural supports
- Act as a Mandated Abuse Reporter
Requirements
- Valid CRC certification
- Experience in interviewing
- Ability to obtain and maintain DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance
- Clean DMV driving record
- Pass a job-related physical
