The Hattie's Doggie Day Care & Boarding Lead Job Coach plays a crucial role in supporting the operations of the doggie daycare. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about animal care and have a strong commitment to working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Lead Job Coach will be responsible for implementing programming that aligns with the individual plans and vocational habilitation of the employees, who are individuals with disabilities. This involves not only overseeing the care of the dogs but also ensuring that the employees are engaged and supported in their roles. In addition to the primary responsibilities of supporting individuals with disabilities, the Lead Job Coach will also handle various operational tasks. These may include customer service interactions, general cleaning duties to maintain a safe and welcoming environment, and animal care responsibilities. The role requires maintaining supplies necessary for the daycare's operations, as well as involvement in marketing efforts, billing processes, and scheduling activities. The Lead Job Coach must be adaptable, as the position requires flexibility in working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with on-call duties as needed. This full-time position offers a variable schedule, typically ranging from 6 am to 7 pm, and requires a commitment of 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, a valid Ohio Driver's License, and at least one year of experience working with individuals with disabilities. Prior experience in animal care is preferred, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
