About The Position

The Employment Coach at PRIDE Industries plays a crucial role in providing tailored job coaching for individuals with disabilities, ensuring their success and retention in competitive employment. This part-time position involves coaching, training, and developing relationships with service providers to support clients in achieving their employment goals.

Requirements

• Intermediate computer skills including spreadsheets, word processing, database, and presentation software.
• Effective communication skills including listening, verbal, written, and presentation abilities.
• Ability to apply critical thinking to identify solutions to problems.
• Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and exercise flexibility.
• Experience working with adults with disabilities preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

• CPR/First Aid certification
• Valid Driver's License

Responsibilities

• Coach and train individuals on necessary workplace skills.
• Assist clients in learning and performing essential job tasks.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with service providers to communicate progress towards goals.
• Maintain case files and related paperwork as required by PRIDE Industries and supporting agencies.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
