About the position

The Job Coach position involves supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their work and volunteer activities. The role requires flexibility in scheduling and the ability to provide on-the-job training and support to help these individuals succeed in their roles. The position is full-time and offers a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

• Train participants in job duties and basic work habits such as reliability and interaction with co-workers.
• Provide one-on-one task analysis and task training to supported employees.
• Maintain ongoing data collection regarding participants' goals and objectives.
• Conduct job development for individuals in the Tailored Day Services Program and collaborate with local businesses.
• Assist individuals in requesting accommodations at their jobs.

Requirements

• Must have a valid California Driver's License and personal automobile for use on the job.
• Good DMV record and auto insurance are required.
• Pass a criminal clearance, physical, drug screen, and TB test.
• Experience in workforce development is preferred.
