About the position

CEPTUA IT INC, a Houston, TX based IT Staffing and Recruiting Firm has multiple openings. The position involves determining business needs via consultation, business analysis, and targeted observations and providing solutions as per client requirements. The role encompasses the entire software development life cycle (SDLC) activities of the project including requirement gathering, development, testing, and support operations. The candidate will compile and assess user feedback to improve existing software products and participate in creating technical specifications and documenting application functionality as a reference for future maintenance and upgrades. Additionally, the role includes developing custom applications and integrations using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, and other Salesforce technologies. The candidate will also contribute to preparing End User Manuals and conducting workshops and training sessions on new software or other systems for employees who will be using them on a regular basis. Post-implementation support and resolving critical and high-priority tickets as per the SLAs are also part of the responsibilities. The candidate will participate in a tight-knit engineering team employing agile software development practices.

Responsibilities

  • Compile and assess user feedback to improve existing software products.
  • Create technical specifications and document application functionality for future maintenance and upgrades.
  • Develop custom applications and integrations using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, and other Salesforce technologies.
  • Prepare End User Manuals and conduct workshops and training sessions on new software or systems.
  • Provide post-implementation support and resolve critical and high-priority tickets as per SLAs.
  • Participate in an agile software development team.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field.
  • At least 6 months of experience.

Benefits

  • Salary ranges between $98,301.00 to $100,000.00/year.
