About the position

The Application Production Support role focuses on monitoring and maintaining the health of production applications. The position requires proficiency in various observability tools and scripting languages to ensure smooth operations and incident management within a DevOps environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor application performance using observability tools such as Splunk, AppDynamics, and Autosys.
• Perform health checks and incident management for production applications.
• Write basic DDL and DML statements in Oracle.
• Support DevOps practices including automation and cloud knowledge.
• Provide L1 support for production applications.
• Utilize UCD and Harness for deployments.
• Implement automation using Python, PowerBi, Shell scripting, and PowerShell.

Requirements

• Experience with application monitoring tools like Splunk, AppDynamics, and Autosys.
• Knowledge of incident management processes and ITIL practices.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell and Python.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools like Openshift and Kubernetes.
• Basic knowledge of Oracle DDL and DML operations.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Grafana for monitoring.
• Knowledge of automation frameworks and cloud technologies.
