About the position

The Rating/Claims System Analyst Senior is responsible for supporting, configuring, designing, testing, and implementing ratings or claims systems. This role involves translating complex business needs into software functionality, ensuring quality and timeliness of deliverables, and providing ongoing support and consultation to end users.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex business needs into application software functionality.
• Work with business owners to identify and analyze requirements and processes.
• Configure new designs and updates in the system.
• Monitor system and business functionality and performance.
• Document and track product defects.
• Coordinate problem resolution with development and/or product vendors.
• Implement rates, rating formulas, product and benefit configuration as directed.
• Analyze, develop, and validate data.
• Research, document, and complete complex projects to ensure business continuity.
• Formulate and define system scope and objectives based on user-defined requirements.
• Support and maintain the systems post-implementation.
• Provide end user support, consultation, and training.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years systems analyst or business analyst experience.

• Agile experience strongly preferred.
