About the position

The Sales Representative at C & B Operations, LLC is responsible for maintaining and expanding customer relationships within the agricultural equipment sales sector. This role involves managing sales information, conducting equipment demonstrations, and providing insights to management based on customer trends. The Sales Representative will also be tasked with developing proposals tailored to customer needs and staying informed about industry trends and financing options.

Responsibilities

  • Developing relationships and expanding customer pipelines
  • Implementing strategies to increase sales and profit by prospecting within the defined territory
  • Creating customer specific proposals based on detailed needs analysis
  • Conducting market research to produce competitive comparisons
  • Developing and maintaining expertise on industry trends and best practices
  • Maintaining sales management information for all customers in the assigned territory
  • Maintaining assigned company vehicles and equipment
  • Conducting new equipment field demonstrations
  • Monitoring trends in customer's business activities and providing timely communication to management
  • Maintaining current knowledge of used equipment values and evaluating equipment for trading purposes
  • Maintaining current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing purchases
  • Attending applicable sales training events/seminars

Requirements

  • At least 3 years prior outside sales experience
  • Experience developing and winning new business in a highly competitive environment
  • Self-driven to actively prospect, cultivate and close new business opportunities
  • Exceptional communication and sales presentation skills
  • Ability to build trusting relationships with customers
  • Strong work ethic and unwavering integrity
  • Willingness to travel across the assigned sales territory
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Valid driver's license and a safe driving record
  • Ability to meet physical demands of the job
