About the position

As a Part-Time Manager/3rd Key Holder at Claire's, you will support the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in achieving retail store targets by driving sales and providing excellent customer service. You will be responsible for opening and closing the store in the absence of other management, ensuring a safe and legal trading environment, and delivering a fun shopping experience for customers. This role involves assisting with store operations, visual merchandising, and product demonstrations, as well as receiving training for ear piercing.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in achieving retail store targets by driving sales.
• Open and close the store in the absence of other management, ensuring safe and legal trading.
• Deliver friendly and efficient customer service to ensure a fun shopping experience.
• Demonstrate Claire's products and assist customers with their queries using product knowledge.
• Assist with processing store deliveries, visual merchandising, stock takes, markdowns, and promotions.
• Receive training for ear piercing and perform ear piercing services as needed.
• Ensure the store is presentable and inviting to customers.

Requirements

• Some high school education required.
• Minimum 1 year of retail experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and basic computer skills.
• Understanding of the importance of customer service.
• Sound understanding of mathematics and strong reading comprehension skills.
• Ability to stand during scheduled shifts and maneuver up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and climb ladders and step stools while placing merchandise and assisting customers.
• Ability to operate a POS system.
