The Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO) Analyst for Land Warfare at S4 Inc. is a critical role that supports the United States Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations Center (JEMSOC). This position is based at Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada and requires a current and active Top Secret security clearance. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive planning, analysis, spectrum management, and intelligence support to the JEMSOC Director. This role is essential in ensuring the readiness and operational effectiveness of Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO) across various military branches, including the US Army and US Marine Corps. The JEMSO Analyst will engage in Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) for Joint Capability Evaluation and Review (JCER) to facilitate readiness evaluations. This involves developing detailed mission analyses and integrating resources to assess capabilities that align with JCER missions. The analyst will also be tasked with making informed recommendations to enhance service or joint tactics, weapon schools, or relevant publications based on the outcomes of JCER evaluations. Furthermore, the role includes analyzing threat data and managing the receipt and dissemination of foreign intelligence information, which is crucial for maintaining operational security and effectiveness. In addition to these responsibilities, the analyst will evaluate emerging Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (EMSO) threats, presenting findings, conclusions, and actionable recommendations based on thorough evaluation results. This position requires conducting extensive tactical, operational, and strategic level research to understand the implications of existing and emerging EMSO threats on joint military operations. The work schedule is Monday through Friday during the day shift, with occasional travel expected as part of the role.
