The Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO) Analyst for Land Warfare at S4 Inc. is a critical role that supports the United States Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations Center (JEMSOC). This position is based at Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada and requires a current and active Top Secret security clearance. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive planning, analysis, spectrum management, and intelligence support to the JEMSOC Director. This role is essential for ensuring the readiness and effectiveness of Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO) across various military branches, including the US Army and US Marine Corps. In this position, the analyst will engage in a variety of tasks aimed at enhancing the operational capabilities of the JEMSOC. This includes developing detailed mission analyses and integrating resources to assess capabilities necessary for the Joint Capability Evaluation Readiness (JCER) mission. The analyst will also be tasked with making informed recommendations regarding service or joint tactics, weapon schools, and relevant publications based on the findings from JCER evaluations. Furthermore, the role involves analyzing threat data and managing the receipt and dissemination of foreign intelligence information, which is crucial for maintaining situational awareness and operational readiness. The analyst will evaluate emerging Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (EMSO) threats and present findings, conclusions, and recommendations based on thorough evaluation results. This includes conducting tactical, operational, and strategic-level research to understand the implications of existing and emerging EMSO threats on joint operations. The position is scheduled for a Monday to Friday day shift, with occasional travel required to fulfill the responsibilities effectively.
